I have loved photography ever since I got my first Kodak Instamatic camera in 1978. A photograph, for me, is my way of freezing a moment in time – stopping the clocks and capturing a moment that will likely never happen again. This is a memory, a still of my perspective of something I saw. A photo allows me to share that moment with others, as well as relive that memory whenever I want to. Since that first camera, I have had several others, increasingly advanced as technology advanced. Five years ago, I fell in love with drone photography with my first DJI Mavic Mini, giving me the ability to capture those same moments and places from a bird’s eye view, going where I could never go with my camera. I have accumulated over 200,000 photos and videos, carefully categorized and organized by year and event in my archives. From those, I have selected the best to share with the world.

I love to explore and learn the history of places, sometimes visting hidden gems most people don’t even know exist, places forgotten in time and almost lost to history. However, each place has a story to tell, and some have fascinating stories that need to be immortalized.
